Meet Jessie! This precious little girl is believed to be a Border Collie/Spaniel mix. She began her life being born in a shelter. It was cold, damp and noisey. She, her six brothers and sisters, and her mom were rescued and placed a loving, warm, quiet foster home. Jessie is now 5 weeks old, eating solid food and thriving wonderfully. Jessie and her litter mates have been effectionately handled, loved and cuddled. Jessie will probably be true to her Border Collie breed, intelligent and if not given something to do she will invent something to do that is not always appropriate. As Jessie continues to grow, she will need lots of chew toys and supervision as she is a teething puppy. She will be working on house and crate training in the weeks to come, but will need continued instruction in her new adoptive home. Jessie has been introduced to other dogs, cats, and children and has gotten along with all of them. If you are interested in this little gal, please apply. The adoption fee is $200.00. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery. Current DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies (if old enough) vaccinations. Heartworm test (if old enough), heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention treatment, and de-worming treatment. He will go home with a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD and vaccination record.
