Meet Hoss! This precious little boy is believed to be a Border Collie/Spaniel mix. He began his life being born in a shelter. It was cold, damp and noisey. He, his six brothers and sisters, and his mom were rescued and placed a loving, warm, quiet foster home. Hoss is now 5 weeks old, eating solid food and thriving wonderfully. Hoss and his litter mates have been effectionately handled, loved and cuddled. Hoss will probably be true to his Border Collie breed, intelligent and if not given something to do he will invent something to do that is not always appropriate. As Hoss continues to grow, he will need lots of chew toys and supervision as he is a teething puppy. He will be working on house and crate training in the weeks to come, but will need continued instruction in his new adoptive home. Hoss has been introduced to other dogs, cats, and children and has gotten along with all of them. If you are interested in this little guy, please apply. The adoption fee is $200.00. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery. Current DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies (if old enough) vaccinations. Heartworm test (if old enough), heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention treatment, and de-worming treatment. He will go home with a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD and vaccination record.
