This is Macey! She is a 3 year old believed to be Plott Hound. She weighs 52 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. She is house and crate trained. Macey came to us from a high kill shelter after she was turned in by a neighbor who found that she had delivered puppies that all died do to a lack of care and poor Macey would not leave them. Her owner obviously didn't care. Macey is a very sweet girl that gets along with everyone. She loves to give kisses so if you don't care for a good dog kiss, you might not pick her! Macey needs a home with no other dogs or cats. She is a pretty low key, laid back girl. She would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
