This is Jewel! She is a 1.5 year old Terrier/American Pit Bull mix that weighs about 45 pounds. She is full grown, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. She is house trained. She loves people and kids. Giving kisses and going for walks are her favorite things. She is good with other dogs that are her size or bigger. She is not good with cats. She is definitely an alpha dog and yes, one ear is up and one ear is down. Jewel came to us from a high kill shelter. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. She is an ideal size for someone looking for a dog bigger than a lap dog, a dog big enough to go for long walks/run, but not to big! Her adoption fee is $100. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
