Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Small
Meet Opal! She is believed to be a terrier mix. Her mom is Fern, and she came to our rescue with Opal and her two siblings when they were only about 2 weeks old. She is the tiniest of the litter at about 2 pounds at 1.5 months and could possibly be 10 pounds full grown. Opal will be available for adoption starting Saturday Sep 13th but we are taking applications for her now. She is absolutely adorable, very sweet, full of energy and ready to play!! As with all puppies, Opal has very sharp, needle like teeth that find little fingers and toes of small children very fun to nibble on. She is working on house and crate training. As with all puppies, Opal will benefit greatly from attending puppy training for both good socialization and to begin establishing much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home. She will make someone a great but active furry family member! Her adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
