Meet Taz! He is believed to be a Rat Terrier mix estimated by the vet to be around 1 year old. Taz weighs about 10 pounds and is full grown. Taz came to our rescue from a local shelter. His name does not correspond with his personality - He is actually shy and very sweet! He is house and crate trained. He does well with adults, children and other dogs. He is friendly and active, and will jump on your lap once he knows you! He is learning to walk nicely on a leash but continued work is needed. Taz will benefit greatly from obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations at home it will also help make him a better family member. He will make someone a great active small furry family member! His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
