Meet Lakota! He is believed to be a border collie/blue heeler mix estimated by the vet to be around 4.5 months old. Lakota came to our rescue from an Amish farm with his two sisters where he was going to be killed. He is very sweet and full of energy - ready to play!! Lakota is 60% house trained and is crate trained. He does fantastic with adults, kids and other dogs. Lakota is very loving, 100% follow off leash, playful, loyal, and very attentive to his handler. Continued work will be needed walking on a leash. He will make some family a great furry family member! His adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
