Meet Velvet! Velvet is believed to be a Lab/Hound mix. He is about 12 weeks old. He currently weighs about 15 pounds and could be 50-55 pounds when full grown. Velvet is one of 6 puppies in his litter that was rescued from a local shelter. He is all puppy and loves other dogs, puppies, kids and people. Velvet would benefit from a dog obedience class to continue learning proper boundaries. Due to his being a puppy, he has sharp puppy teeth and care will need to be taken if he is adopted into a family with younger children. He is working on crate house training! The adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
