Meet Major!! He is a stunningly beautiful, German Shepherd believed to be about 7 months old. He currently weighs about 65 pounds, and could reach over 100 pounds when full grown. Major came into our rescue from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. He is currently learning boudaries, rules and limitations in his foster home and is doing beautifully!! He is VERY affectionate, outgoing dog who loves attention. Major gets along great with other dogs, and older kids. He is working on house and crate trained. Major needs work on walking on a leash as he will pull. He will make some family a great furry family member!! Do to his extra large size, Major would do best in a home without toddlers or very young children. The adoption fee is $300.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
