Meet Rex !!! He is a 4 1/2 month old Goldendoodle. He could be 65 when full grown. He was surrendered to our rescue by his owner who could no longer care for him. Rex is very smart & he LOVES the snow! He has learned "off" and "sit," as well as comes when called. He's doing very well potty training - will go out and "potty" on command. He sleeps at night gated in the kitchen on his bed without whining or fussing. He will go in the crate for a few minutes at a time without barking but will probably need further crate training as in longer increments he cries and chews as all puppies do. He entertains himself well with his stuffed animal and his chew toys. Also likes to play fetch with the tennis ball, sometimes he drops it and catches it himself. Rex loves to walk, run, and play. He will benefit greatly from obedience training as do all dogs. Rex gets along great with other dogs and kids. He is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Rex rides great in the car. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
