Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : X-Large Learn more about the Great Pyrenees.
Meet Bear! He is a Great Pyrenees who is believed to be about 3 years old. He is very smart, and knows some basic commands such as sit, down and walks well on a leash most of the time. However, like mose Pyrenees he can also be quite stubborn at times. He is a very big baby who believes himself to be a lap dog. Bear is both house and crate trained. Bear does have a high prey drive to chase smaller animals. He will need to be in a home with only large dogs, no smaller pets. He also is very strong and should not be with small children. The adoption fee is $200.00. His adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
