Meet Fiona!  She is a 4 year old pure breed Poodle.  She is house and crate trained.  Fiona’s foster family says “Fiona will respond to the command to potty.  She is being trained to ring bell to go outside. Fiona is gets along with women and kids.  She is shy around men when first meeting them.  She gets along with most dogs.  She has problems with other dominant female dogs.  Fiona does not do well with cats. She knows sit, down, come, potty, and is working on the word “wait “before going out a door.   Fiona will go into her crate with the command  ”home.” Fiona enjoys going for walks.  She is always eager to greet people and meet other dogs.   She likes chewing on sticks or toy bones.  She loves the all over body pet down. Fiona has a hernia.  She has been trained on the invisible fence.  She walks and behaves well on a leash.   She loves to get into the car and rides very well.  She has visited the elderly at a nursing home.   She lies still while being combed.”Her adoption fee is $450.00.  The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
