Meet Bailey! He is a 4 year old pure bred Yorkie. He is a sweetie and only weighs in at 7 pounds.  What his foster says about Bailey. “He is great with men, women and kids.  He is fine with other dogs, but sometimes gets “little guy syndrome” with big dogs.  He is fine with cats and pretty much leaves them alone. Saying he LOVES to play is an understatement!  He can and will play all day long.  He isn’t a destructive chewer and likes playing fetch.  He really likes going on walks and sits down to pout when it doesn’t last a long as he thinks it should. He is pretty sneaky and likes to go on adventures when you aren’t looking.  He doesn’t run and run, but he likes to go mark his territory.  He will come right to you when you go to get him.  If you see him heading away and call his name, he knows not to go and will turn round.  He is a very smart dog.  He is also very sweet.  He is waiting when you get home and stands on his back legs waiting to be picked up.  He is a good boy who needs a little instruction at times and a family to love & play with him.” He will make some family a great furry family member!!His adoption fee is $350.00.  The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.  He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
