Meet Norman! He is believed to be a Maltese/Bichon mix and about 3 years old. He is very small weighs about 12 pounds. He is a very sweet, loving dog. Norman came to us from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owners. He is a wonderful little boy but has the high energy level very common in the small breeds! He is friendly and loves attention. Norman would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. He is house and crate trained with the occasional accident. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but still acts very excited when meeting new dogs. It is believed that norman may have had a negative experience in his past with young children as he is not comfortable around them at this. He will need to go to a home without children under the age of ten. He walks well on a leash and will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $150.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. he will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
