Meet Romeo! He is a 2 year old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. He is very small weighs about 5 pounds. He is a very sweet, loving dog who is pretty needy. He is young and has a high energy level. He enjoys snuggling. Romeo came to us from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. He is a wonderful little boy but has the high energy level very common in the small breeds! He is friendly and loves attention but has the typical small dog attitude. Romeo would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. He is house and crate trained with only a very occasional accident. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He walks well on a leash and will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! Due to his smaller size, he will do best in a home with older children. Typically, small breed dogs and small children are not a good match. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
