Meet Baxter!! He is 8 weeks old and is a Sheltie mix puppy. Baxter is a happy, sweet, loving puppy! He currently weighs about 8 pounds and may reach about 30 pounds when full grown. Baxter loves people and is all puppy!  He is absolutely precious, playful and such a happy puppy! He gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. He is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy he will greatly benefit from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Baxter needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through this transition and commit to him for his entire life. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
