Meet Roscoel! He is a purebred Mini Doxie, who is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. Roscoe came to our rescue from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. Roscoe is a very, very sweet, loving dog who is not demanding. He enjoys snuggling, sleeping in your bed, and curling up on your lap. He is friendly and loves attention. Roscoe is completely house and crate trained. Roscoe gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids and all people in general. He walks well on a leash and will require daily walks for exercise. Roscoe is truly a gem and will make some family a great little furry member!! Due to his small size, Roscoe will need to be with children over the age of 8. Typically small breed dogs and small children do not do well together. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
