Meet McCoy!!  He is a gorgeous 1 year old Terrier mix.  He is possibly a Westie mix? He currently weighs about 12 pounds and may reach 15 pounds when full grown.  McCoy came to our rescue from a local shelter where he was surrendered and left in the night depository. He is so sweet about everything! McCoy is very friendly and wants to give kisses all day long! He also loves to be held. He is very lovable and enjoys people once he warms up to you. McCoy gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. He is working on house training and crate training.  McCoy is very smart and learns very quickly!!  He is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy he will greatly benefit  from obedience training to learn to be a good family member.  McCoy needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through this transition and commit to him for his entire life.  He will need to go to a home with children who are a bit older, 8 years or older.  As a rule, small dogs typically do not do well with younger children. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
