Meet Josey!! She is a sweet, loving, beautiful, playful puppy!  Josey is a Labradoodle, Standard Poodle/Labrador Retriever mix.  Josey is about 10 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. She came to us from a local shelter where she was surrendered by her owner. Josey is very friendly and loves attention. She loves to play and run. She is simply a bundle of puppy energy!! Josey will benefit greatly from obedience training for both the training and the socialization. She is both house and crate trained. Josey loves other dogs, kids and cats. She is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. We have had Josey spayed. Josey has the coat of a Standard Poodle; she will require grooming every 5 to 6 weeks. This will cost about $50.00 and will need to be included in the budget of caring for Josey. She was in such bad shape when surrendered to the shelter, she had to be completely shaved down to remove all the matted hair. She will make some family a great little furry member!! Josey needs a family committed to seeing her through her puppy stage and for the rest of her life. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
