Meet Akasha!!  She is a beautiful, precious, adorable 7 week old puppy who's mom is a Papillion/Pom mix.  Mom and her 5 puppies came to our rescue from a local shelter when the puppies were just hours old.  We have watched these puppies grow, have loved and cared for them. Akasha currently weighs about 4 pounds and may reach about 8 pounds when full grown. She is going to be a small dog.  Akasha gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She has just begun working on house training and crate training.  Akasha is very smart and learns very quickly!!  She is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy she will greatly benefit from obedience training to learn to be a good family member.  Akasha needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing her through this transition and commit to her for her entire life.  She will need to go to a home with children who are a bit older, 10 years or older.  As a rule, small dogs typically do not do well with younger children. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
