Meet Taffy!!He is a pure bred Dachshund. Taffy is about 1 year old, and weighs about 18 pounds. He is a little timid but loves attention and is warming up. Taffy was surrendered by his owner to a local shelter. He needs a home with unconditional love to teach him what it means to be a pampered and loved pet!!! He does enjoy running and playing. Taffy will benefit greatly from obedience training. He is house and crate trained. Taffy gets along great with other dogs and kids. He is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Taffy will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
