Meet Tanner!! He is a Yorkie mix. Tanner is about 5 years old, and weighs about 8 pounds. Tanner is a wonderful litle guy but is a very high energy typical in the Yorkie breed! He is friendly, and loves attention. He loves to play and run. Tanner will benefit greatly from obedience training. He is house and crate trained. Tanner gets along great with other dogs and kids. He is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Tanner will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! Because of his small size, he will need to go to a family with children 10 years or older. Most toy and small breed dogs do not do well with young children. The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
