Meet Ziggy !! He is a spectacular little Pom/Chihuahua mix. Ziggy is absolutely adorable, just look at face! Ziggy is super friendly, LOVES attention, and wants nothing more than to be held constantly. Being a puppy, Ziggy will get along with other dogs, cats and kids. Ziggy is very much a puppy and will need the proper puppy training. He has very sharp, needle like teeth and will bite little fingers and toes. He also has very sharp claws that will strach when he jumps up. All these behaviors can be modified and Ziggy taught not to bite and jump but it takes lots of time, love, patience, and perserverience. He benefit greatly from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Ziggy needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through it. He is going through the chewing phase and will need constant supervision and will need to be crated when he cannot be supervised. Ziggy will need to learn to walk well on a leash. He will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his puppy energy and get the excerise he needs. He will make some family a GREAT furry member!! Do to his very small size, Ziggy will only be adopted to a family with children age 10 and over. The adoption fee is $300.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
