Meet Izzy!!  She  is believed to be a small Red Husky mix.  Izzy is super friendly and loves attention.  Izzy is mostly house trained; she will rarely have an accident if you are home with her.  She is a dog who loves freedom and dislikes being in a crate.  Izzy would be perfect for a home where she can run free through the house or a sealed-off room.  She gets very anxious in a crate and will almost always have an accident if put in one.  However, outside of the crate she is a very well-behaved obedient dog.  She still needs training on how to walk on a leash; she is a big puller. She loves to cuddle and being next to you is her favorite activity.  Izzy can sit and lay down and is currently working on how to shake.  She does great with kids, gets excited with cats and will chase them, but will not harm them.  Izzy does not do well with other dogs.  She would do best in a home where she is the only dog.   For whatever reason, Izzy does not like other dogs. She loves to run around and play, but only plays and runs in short spurts.  She tries to jump up on you but if you tell her to get down she listens.  She has a ton of energy and needs to continue her obedience training.  Izzy will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her puppy energy.  She will make some family a great little furry member!!  The adoption fee is $100.00.  The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.  He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
