* Because he has a future vet appointment to be fixed and vaccinated, he won't be available to take home until the end of August or first of September.
* Nugget is working on potty training and doing very well!
* He has a lot of energy and is very playful.  He loves to wrestle with his foster siblings.
* Nugget is not accustomed to a crate but has learned very quickly how to use doggy doors.
* He gets along great with people, other dogs, and kids.  He has been exposed to cats and likes to chase them.
* Nugget is happy all the time and very sweet.  He loves cuddles and sleeping on your lap.
* Nugget will need a yard to release all his energy.
* He can be a little insecure about being picked up, but just needs some time to trust his new people.
* Being very young and a small breed, Nugget has the potential for a very long life.  This should be taken into consideration for anyone applying for him.  
* Like all young pups, he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help with basic commands, good household behaviors and for overall socialization.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
