Meet Ruby!
* Her adoption fee is $300.00. * Ruby came to us from an Amish breeder where she had been abused and then was released to us. She is shy and it takes her time to trust people. *Ruby prefers women over men, but with time it is possible to earn her trust w/ men if they are committed to being consistent with her. She will NOT do well in a home with children. She is dog and cat friendly. *Ruby is a young girl who enjoys adventure. She has been camping and loves to go backpacking. She has done moderate to very rugged hiking trips. She also loves trips to the park and farmer's market! *Ruby is sweet and affectionate and enjoys daily walks with her person. * She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She has been started on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. *Her obedience training will need to be an ongoing task with her new owner. Ruby has come miles in moving beyond her abusive past, but still has a ways to go. * The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
