Meet Ellie!! Her mother is a Border Collie mix and dad is a purebred, chocolate and tan, mini dachshund. Pictures of both mom and dad are below. Ellie came to the rescue with her SIX siblings! Ellie is adorable! She can vocal when she wants something and then just snuggle up to you in a heart beat! She loves to be a lap dog! Ellie gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Ellie is crate trained and almost house trained. Ellie is very much a puppy and will need the proper puppy training. She has very sharp, needle-like teeth and will bite little fingers. She will benefit greatly from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Ellie needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing her through it. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
