Maddie is believed to be a 1 year old Austrailian Shepherd/Austrailian Cattle Dog mix. She was adopted from us back in January and has come back as her family does not like her herding instinct with their children running through the yard.
She weighs 45 pounds and is full grown.
She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
She is house trained. Can be crated but will be vocal about it for awhile and then she will settle in.
As true to her breed, she is a very active, high energy girl who will need a yard, daily play time and walks to expend her energy.
She is good with other dogs, and people of all ages including children. Keep in mind that she is a herding breed and will herd running children and nip at their heels. A home with older children may be best.
She knows several basic commands.
She would benefit greatly from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, good household manners and overall socialization.
She will make someone a wonderful companion and is looking for a forever home.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
