Meet Mattie!!! She
is believed to be a Shih Tzu/Lhasa mix about a year and about a year
and a half old. She is a very sweet girl! She loves women but is
cautious of men. She is not aggressive toward them but tends to shy
away. Mattie will need to go to a home where her owners will
understand this about her and work with her and love her
anyway. Mattie has had many changes in her life and needs a family who
be committed to her, take her for walks, be patient, love her and work
through her shyness of men. She has so much love to give and deserves
to be given the time to become secure in a home. Mattie craves
attention and wants very much to be by your side. Mattie will benefit
greatly from socialization. Mattie gets along with other dogs, cats
and older children. She does not care for younger children. Mattie can
only go to a home with children over the age of 10. Mattie loves to go
for walks and does well on a leash, is crate trained, is VERY
smart, and incredibly sweet. Mattie still is having a few accedents in
the house and we are hoping with more comfidence this will stop. Mattie
is a beautiful dog, just look at that face! The adoption fee is $150.00. The
adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with
current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough
and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when
neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm
testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as
well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the
rescue.
She will go home with a collar, leash, tag, training DVD, and
