Meet our precious Maggie! She is still awaiting a special home to call her own. Maggie came to us in mid December, very pregnant! The shelter in Kentucky was going to euthinize her, taking her life and her puppies lives as well. We brought Maggie into our rescue and on December 20th she gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies. She has watched each of her puppies go off with their new families and is eagerly awaiting a home where she can be loved and cared for forever. Now that she is unencumbered she is beginning to be more playful and energetic. She has her favorite toys and plays with our other foster dogs. Her favorite pastime remains BONE CHEWING! She is potty trained, leash trained, loves car rides and can sit and lay on command. Her curly tail wags when it's time to go outside. She is a true delight! We have taken Maggie to the vet and discovered she has developed allergies. They are not severe but they do cause itchiness. She is responding well to her medication and may only need one round to clear things up. Having puppies sure does mess with a gal’s hormones!!! Could you give this poor darling momma her forever home? Even with her itchies, she still loves to cuddle and give lovin!
