Yellow Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
This is Callie! She is a 4 year old Yellow Lab mixed with something smaller. She weighs 26 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, micro-chipped, heart worm negative and up to date on vaccinations. She is crate trained and is working hard on house training. She is skittish of new things, people and places and this may be her reason for a few house accidents at first. She is good with people, children, cats and other dogs. She likes to play and knows some basic commands. Callie loves to have her belly rubbed and be cuddled. She is very good at walking on a leash. She is a great size for anyone looking for an active pup that isn't too large to sit on your lap but also that could walk a good distance. She is very alert of her surroundings and will bark at a doorbell. As do all young dogs, she would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
