This sweet little guy is Walter! He is an 8 year old miniature poodle. He weighs about 10 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is house trained. Walter is beginning to experience some vision loss. He can see enough to get around. He is best at sitting on the couch with you and enjoying your company. He is a friendly guy that is good with people and other dogs but doesn't like fast approaches or people in his face. He has probably come from a quiet home and that is what he is used to. Walter is looking for that special person who wants a constant companion to talk to and cuddle with! He came to us from a local shelter that took in numerous pups from a hoarding situation. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. We are getting Walter a much needed dental. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
