This is Maxine! She is a 2 year old Beagle mix. She weighs 21 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained and crate trained. She is an active girl and would enjoy a family that would give her plenty of play time. Maxine came to us from a shelter where she lived for almost 6 months! Not sure why she had been overlooked for so long. She likes to play with her foster roommate dog and she walks pretty good on a leash. She enjoys playing fetch and with toys. She is a bolter and needs work on not getting out of the door when it is opened. Like all young dogs, she would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
