This is Katie! She is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix. She weighs 8 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained and crate trained. Katie came to us with her 3 puppies from a shelter. She does have a limp from what the vet believes is an old injury. It doesn't seem to be painfull to her or to slow her down. She is a very sweet girl that is good with people but a bit timid at first. She is a great lap dog. She is ok with other dogs and we recommend a home with children 10 and older due to her small size. Like all young dogs, she would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
