Meet Beatrix! She is a 2 year old believed to be Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. She weighs 8 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. She is house trained. Beatrix is playfull and adventurous, but not destructive. She is extra sweet and snuggly and will bond quickly with a new owner. She is definitely a lap dog and she knows it! She's a kisser, and will try to sneak one in on you, so be warned. Beatrix gets along fine with other dogs, particularly those larger than her. She would do best with a fenced yard. She does great on a leash, but still needs work with basic commands like sit and stay. A good routine would help her. She is a quick learning. For the most part she has one ear up, and one ear down! She would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $250. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
