This is Olaf! He is a 1 year old Great Pyrenees. He weighs 75 pounds and could be 90 pounds when full grown and filled out. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. He is house and crate trained. He came to us from a bad situation where he was purchased to be used for breeding which wasn't a good plan. Olaf became a much larger dog than his owner had space to accommodate. His foster family is very patiently working with him to show him that people can be gentle and that he will be fed enough every day. He is good with people, children and other dogs. He needs to find a home with a patient family that will give him the love, attention and daily exercise that he deserves. Olaf would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. His adoption fee is $350. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
