Meet Freckles! He is believed to be a pure bred Miniature Doxie. Freckles is estimated by the vet to be about 2 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. He came to our rescue as a owner surrender. His owner wanted Freckles to be in a family where his owners were home more as his owner traveled a lot. He is very sweet and enjoys being with people. Freckles enjoys sleeping on your lap. He does great with other dogs. He is learning to walk well on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Freckles is house and crate trained. He will benefit greatly from obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations at home. This will also help make him a better family member. Due to his small size, Freckles would do best in home with children older than 8 years old. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
