Meet Max!! He is amazing, beautiful smart puppy. Max has had a rough start in his short life. He was abused but is such a wonderful, sweet dog, estimated to be about 9 months old. Max does have a dominent personality, and does challenge authority. He will need a strong pack leader who will not be manipulated. Max is extemely smart, learns quickly, and very much wants to please. BUT, he will test the acceptable boundaries every chance he gets. He has so much love to give and does so freely. Max is happy sitting next to you but also enjoys playing with his toys or chewy stick. Just look at his sweet face! Max walks very well on a leash, he is completely house walksand crate trained. He gets along great with other dogs, but he is a dominant dog so he wants to be in charge of other dogs. Max does great with older kids as well. He will make a great, very active, fun loving family pet. Max will benefit greatly from obedience training. He will require daily walks to expend his energy. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, tag, training DVD, and vaccination record.
