Meet October!!  She is a beautiful 6 week old puppy who's mom is a White German Shepherd and Dad is believed to be possibly a Collie but could be any number of things. She currently weighs about 6 pounds and may reach about 65 pounds when full grown. She was born in our rescue with his 6 siblings on August 1st.  October will not be available to leave the rescue until October 1st when she is over 8 weeks of age. October loves people and is all puppy!!  She gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She is working on house training and crate training. She is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy she will greatly benefit  from obedience training to learn to be a good family member.  October needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing her through this transition and commit to her for her entire life. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
