Meet Barney!!! He is believed to be about 5 years old and a Beagle/Bassett mix. Barney was abandoned by his owners. They moved and left him behind to fend for himself. Barney is such a wonderful, sweet dog. He has so much love to give and does so freely. Barney is a bit over weight and needs to drop a few pounds but with daily exercise of a walk or run, he will be in shape in no time. Just look at his sweet face! Barney needs work with walking on her leash, being a Beagle mix, his nose gets the better of him and he tends to pull. He is completely house and crate trained. Barney will greatly benefit from obedience training and socialization. He gets along great with EVERYONE, other dogs, cats, and all people. He will make a great laid back family pet. The adoption fee is $150.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, tag, training DVD, and vaccination record.
