Meet Maxx!!! Maxx is a delightful boy. He is a social dog and loves people, cats and other dogs. He knows sit, down, come, go, off, up and he is eager to please. Maxx could probably play fetch all day if he was allowed and he loves the idea of being a sofa spud, but will stay on the floor if that is what is preferred. Max is 100% housetrained and he will “kennel up” when it is time for his foster mom to leave for work. Maxx was reportedly left alone in a home for a very long time and consequently he can get bored and find his own kind of fun. He will do best if he is crated or gated when his family is away. He is perfectly fine sleeping on a dog bed all night with no trouble. Maxx clearly had great manners before he was left alone and he just gets better every day. He will be the star of any obedience class he joins with his new family.The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
