Meet Freckles!! His mother is Black Lab and dad was a St. Bernard. Freckles came to the rescue with his three siblings! These babies are just now 8 weeks old and are already huge puppies. They will be very large dogs when full grown. This fact needs to be considered before adopting. Being a puppy, Freckles will get along with other dogs, cats and kids. Freckles is very much a puppy and will need the proper puppy training. He has very sharp, needle like teeth and will bite little fingers. He also has very sharp claws that will strach when he jumps up. All these behaviors can be modified and Freckles taught not to bite and jump but it takes lots of time, love, patience, and perserverience. He benefit greatly from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Freckles needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through it. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
