* Adoption fee is $300.00.
* I am an almost 2 year old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix.
*Current weight is 12 pounds and I won't get any larger than this. 
*PLEASE read all about me before applying as my breed has certain qualities that may not be for every home.
*Maxie needs to be in a home with either no kids or kids that are 10+ years old.
*It would be best for her to be the only dog in the home.
*Maxie is VERY energetic and will need a family that is quite active and able to give her the play time and walk time she requires.
*She loves attention, belly rubs and playing fetch.
*Maxie can be silly, is free spirited, sweet, excitable and always curious.
*She is just a super affectionate dog and seeks to please you.
*Maxie is such a joy, she is always happy and just puts a smile on your face.
*This breed can tend to have anxiety which can include things like being anxious, not liking to be alone often, licking paws to soothe, etc...
*Maxie knows some commands like sit, stay and bed.  She is potty trained and crate trained.
*Her breed is very intelligent and will need to be kept busy to stay out of trouble.
*A fenced yard is a requirement.
*Maxie will come with a crate and her pet bed.

*She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on her vaccinations.  She has been started on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.        

* The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
