This is Fiona. She was adopted from us 4 years ago as a young puppy and now her family is moving overseas and she can't go with them.
Adoption fee is $50.00
Fiona is believed to be a 5 year Border Collie and Shepherd mix.
She weighs 54 pounds and is full grown.
She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
She is house trained and not crated.
She is good with people. She is good with other dogs of medium and larger size once she has had a chance to acclimate to them. She is currently in a foster home with another pup and has adjusted well. We are saying no to small dogs as her prey drive is strong.
Fiona does have some energy and will need a home with a yard and daily exercise.
She loves to chew bones and wants to be right next to her human. She is a nervous pup and is taking Prozac to calm her. Not sure if this will be a long term thing or just until she gets settled into her forever home.
She will make someone a wonderful new companion and family member.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
