Meet Benji!!! He is believed to be a 1 year old, Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix. Benji came to our rescue as an owner surrender. He gets along well with other dogs, is very playful, and chases his tail in circles. He can leap off and on the bed despite his small size. He loves to cuddle up on the couch or in bed. He must have been allowed on furniture because he acts like it is his right to be there. He loves going bye-bye in the car. If he's hiding under the bed and won't come out, simply say "bye-bye" and he comes on the run with his tail wagging. He greets people that come over with friendliness. Benji is great with kids, Benji is working on walking on a leash, is completely house and crate trained. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
