This is Frankie! He is a 7 year Shih Tzu/Pekingnese mix. He weighs 12 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is crate trained. Frankie has very bowed front legs but seems to get around just fine. The vet thinks that Frankie could have some arthritis in his hind legs but has no problem running and getting around. He just had a dental in April 2016. Frankie also is believed to have a neurological issue that the vet said could be from an old injury. He is currently on medicaiton for incontinence as he is having problems making it outside to urinate. He is happy and not in any pain. Frankie is a very sweet and loving boy. He is a friendly guy that is good with people, children, and other dogs. He is a very loving guy that just wants a forever home of his own. He has a lot of life left and love to share! He does struggle a bit with steps and would do best in a home that doesn't have many that he would need to go up and down all the time. He came to us from a shelter. He will make someone a great new family member. Frankie is a no fee adoption due to his special needs. We are looking for the right home that will give him the love he deserves! The usual adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
