Foster of Donate? We need you this month!
Foster Families are Needed More Than Ever
More and more pets are ending up in shelters or being surrendered. The state of the economy is most definitely a contributing factor. Job loss, home foreclosures, and families struggling to make ends meet are forcing them to give up their pets. Perfect Paws works very hard to save as many pets as we possibly can but we simply do not have enough foster families.
Summer brings more challenges. The foster families we do have are taking vacations and going to the lake. Having more foster families would ease the burden for the foster families already actively helping out this serious problem. Please join our efforts to save these precious pets. It is a very rewarding, uplifting experience.
Foster Families are an increasing need for our rescue. Perfect Paws will supply all you need to foster a pet in need. This includes a crate, food, treats, medication, etc. We supply the equipment, you supply the love! If you have room in your heart and home to help a homeless pet in need, we'd love to have you as a foster parent!
Donate For Dotti! 
This is Dotti and she needs your help! Dotti is deaf and was surrendered to the shelter by her owners. Perfect Paws was contacted and asked to help Dotti as she could not go into their adoption program because of her disability. Dotti is an amazing girl! She is so full of love and gives it so freely. Dotti is only 2 years old and has a long life ahead.
With Dotti's deafness, she is in need of a special training collar. This collar simply gives Dotti a vibration to give us her attention for further direction. This collar is expensive – $175.00 – but it will give Dotti the closest thing to a normal life she can have. Dotti is very loveable, gentle, and so eager to please. She is highly intelligent and already knows a few hand signals. She enjoys car rides and being right by your side. Dotti deserves this chance. PLEASE help Dotti! A highly-respected trainer is donating her time to help train Dotti, if we can purchase this special collar. Rockin for Rescue Benefit Event

**This will be a day filled with fun, food, silent auction, music, and pets galore. This is a fundraising benefit to help our homeless pets. Come out and join the fun. You may even find the perfect pet to adopt and take home with you!
Meet Gunner
Meet Gunner!!! He is a 10 month old Black Lab puppy. He currently weighs about 60 pounds. He is an amazingly sweet boy. He is still a puppy. He needs a family who be committed to him, take him for walks, play with him, to expend is puppy energy, and see him through his puppyhood. He craves attention and wants very much to be by your side. Meet Minx
Minx is a very sweet girl who loves her tummy rubbed and loves to play. She tends to be dominate and depending on the other pets in a household she can be unwilling to cooperate with them. She would do well by herself or with a dog. She can learn to tolerate other cats but has a hard time doing so. Minx will definately follow behind wherever you go and demands attention. She does love to eat and her weight needs to be watched. Minx has bright blue eyes and a luxurious tortie cream coat. Come see her at our meet and greets at the Maysville Rd. Petsmart. In 2006 we adopted Rocky from Perfect Paws. Rocky was a 12 week old puppy then. He has brought so much joy to our lives. When we adopted him he looked like a rough and tumble little Rottie but as he grew he changed so much. He now looks like a beautiful Husky...He is the sweetest most loving yet fiercely protective dog. He is my daughter's best friend and he is my baby still...He loves to curl up on his pillow in my office while I work. I just can't imagine life without Rocky. Even though it has been 4 ars since we adopted him, I still thank God every day for the people at Perfect Paws and especially Rocky's foster mom.
